No existing records in South Korean dental clinics of untreated dental issues
If you have previously received dental treatments in South Korea, you can still apply for dental insurance. However, it’s important that:
- During your last dental check-up in South Korea, no untreated issues (such as cavities or other problems) were recorded.
- Any dental concerns identified during an examination must be fully treated before the start of the insurance policy.
Please note that there are specific limitations if you have undergone
gum treatments (such as for periodontitis or periodontal disease) within the last five years.
These restrictions may affect certain aspects of your coverage. For more details about how this might apply to you, or to discuss alternative options, contact your insurance agent. We’re here to help you navigate the process and find the best solution for your needs.
Please get insurance before your first visit to the dentist in Korea.
